Neighborhoods in Seattle – Leschi
Located on the southern tip of what is considered Seattle’s Gold Coast, the Leschi Neighborhood in Seattle follows along the western shore of Lake Washington. Its unique setting and close proximity to downtown, trendy Capitol Hill and swanky Madison Park make this beach community ideal for buyers looking for a relaxed atmosphere alongside an urban core. Leschi borders Lake Washington on the east; Interstate 90 on the south, Martin Luther King, Jr. Way South on its west, and East Cherry Street on the north.
Residences in Leschi include many lakeside condo’s, refurbished bungalows and craftsman, contemporary styles, bricks, Tudors and mid-century ramblers. Curvy streets wind away from the lakefront, which means many residences get at least a partial lake view. Living in Leschi has a lot to offer. You’ll find great dining on the lake at popular restaurants such as Blue Water Bistro and Daniel’s Broiler or shopping at the locals favorite Leschi Market. There are also many parks from the Leschi lakeside park to smaller parks and trails spread throughout the neighborhood.
